VALUES
The values of this company stem from our belief that awareness and caring deeply about what you do make a tangible difference in the real world.
We believe in taking responsibility, giving back and paying forward. We believe in competence, excellence, honesty, fair play and having fun.
And in acceptance, respect and inclusion -- therefore we don't believe in being preachy or judgmental
and seek to hear all sides of any issue -- and we believe that, as professional communicators, that just makes sense.
Therefore, gardner-madras strategic creative is committed to creating a sustainable business model while conducting business in an ethical and
socially responsible manner and contributing positively to the communities we are a part of --
local, global, professional and intentional. We seek to contribute our time, energy and dedication to clients and partners who are also invested in promoting sustainability, progress and community.
Below are some examples of how we define our commitment to these values.
Our first responsibility is to create a fiscally healthy and sustainable business model providing for our stability and organic growth and using that strength
to empower others to achieve their goals.
We seek to reduce our impact on the environment through use of recycled, ethically produced and renewable materials wherever possible.
We have made a conscious decision to conduct the vast majority of our business by electronic and telephonic means, saving the thousands of gallons of
fuels used annually in commuting to a traditional work environment or client site.
By storing and transmitting business information such as documentation and project planning electronically, we have very little in the way of paper archives.
As we continue to grow, we define progress not only by our own financial health but also by the health of our professional community and our participation
in creating resources for our peers and clients.
We will measure progress by the measure by which we find new and more environmentally friendly ways to do business.
It is our ongoing commitment to continue to volunteer our time, skills and knowledge to projects and causes such as the Katrina People Finder
database project and the Oregon Bus Project as well as provide assistance and advice to the community at large wherever needed.
We believe it is our responsibility to continually seek out ways to improve ourselves and our environment, to find ways to create opportunity for others and promote the general welfare of the people and other living beings of this planet.
In short, we are committed to becoming part of the new-generation of leaders using their unique skills and the power of business to improve the world.
