In late 2004, The Global Fund for Women decided to revitalize their Investing in Women Campaign
and set a fundraising target for summer of 2005 of $20 million. Under the Kintera Innovation Grants program their redesigned campaign site and online house party hub provided dramatic results.
The strategy of using a viral Web site to move party information to their eager membership allowed them to self organize
and administrate which yeilded less resource expenditure for the organization and a whole new level of engagement for their supporters.
They raised unprecendented levels of house party donations with the program.
We have since transitioned the sites into a general supporter campaign called Get Involved that continues to be updated and enhanced. The image at left is the original design, please visit the live sites to see how it has been adapted.
