The Breast Cancer Fund had reached a common stage in their Web site development -- what they had just wasn't working any more as the organization grew and had refined their focus on driving policy on research into the environmental causes of breast cancer.
TBCF wanted a Web site that metaphorically captured their catch phrase "At the Nexus of Health and the Environment". They also needed a design that provides easy access for supporters to participate in events and advocacy as well as for media and scholars to access the wealth of information they have catalogued.
Balancing these needs led to the one-of-a-kind home page they were looking for and a carefully planned navigation scheme providing the necessary crosslinking between sections.
Their current site has been online for 2 years and is continuing to evolve with organizational priorities.
